11 yearsI received an unexpected cold call - reminiscent of what S P Heffernan mentioned, but this was three times in the space of just one day! On Tuesday, 2nd February 2016, I got a call in the afternoon, then two calls on Wednesday, 3rd February 2016, at 10:25 and again at 10:33. All of them claimed they'd assisted with a fictitious previous PPI overpayment claim from years back, and they asserted that the calls were merely follow-ups on this imaginary claim. The name of the so-called company sounded a bit like "New Claims for You" - the caller even introduced themselves as "New Claims for You," bizarrely enough!SHeffernan11 yearsI received an unexpected phone call from this number at 13:20 today, 14 December 2015. The caller, a woman, asserted that I had shown interest in their services back in 2012. She proceeded to discuss recovering PPI (Payment Protection Insurance) that I had already sorted out two years prior. When I inquired how she had obtained my contact details, her reply was vague, saying, “it’s on my screen,” and did not take any responsibility for it.
