11 yearsGot hit with a cold call out of nowhere, pretty much like S P Heffernan mentioned, but I actually got three calls in just one day. First was on Tuesday afternoon, then again next morning at 10:25, and once more a few minutes later at 10:33! They kept saying it was about helping me with a PPI overpayment claim from years ago, which I've never even made. The company kept calling themselves something like "New Claims for You" or that’s what it sounded like anyway. Caller ID showed the same thing: "New Claims for You" or something similar. The woman on the line said I’d shown interest in their company back in 2012, which I never did. She tried to convince me I could claim back PPI I’d supposedly overpaid, even though I sorted that out a couple of years ago. When I asked where they got my details from, she just said “It’s on my screen” and refused to take any responsibility. Once I asked her to take me off their list, she just hung up.
