They said they were from Everyday Loans, but that’s not true at all. I actually know someone who works there and told me it’s a scam. Best thing to do is just block and report them.

I had an unpleasant encounter with a caller who was exceedingly disrespectful. After I informed him that I was feeling unwell and requested a call back later, he decided to ring again. He rudely questioned why I had hung up, insinuating it was due to a lack of understanding of English. His pompous attitude and abrasive tone were infuriating, especially since I’m fully fluent - in fact, I’ve received my education right here! All I did was end the conversation because I was genuinely struggling to breathe and battling a severe fever. To add insult to injury, he even contacted me again using a different number to berate me further. The number he used on that occasion was 01642450416.

Total scams! They never bother leaving any voicemail. I've got calls from all sorts of random mobile numbers, plus one that’s supposedly a landline in Manchester with the 0161 code. Honestly, BT should shut that number down for good.

The caller had both my landline and mobile numbers, which was a bit creepy. I chose not to pick up because I don’t usually answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise. They didn’t bother to leave any voicemail either.

Right in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, they somehow thought it was okay to ring me up trying to sell stuff. Bloody cheek!
