Got a call from an unknown number, picked up but all I could hear was silence. Probably just one of those auto-dialers messing about.

I got a call showing a local number, but when i asked for a callback number, they gave me a 0161 one. I rang that local number back and they picked up immediately, but then put me on hold. They reckoned I owed more than £2000 for bank loans and credit cards from ages ago, like 2010! Problem is, i dont have any of those accounts at all.
