Received a call earlier today from a woman claiming to be from a company named Crane. I admitted I had never heard of them. She then started rambling about a car accident, which was rather puzzling. I decided it was best to hang up and promptly added the number to my block list.

Almost the same as others I've seen. I was in a minor work-related crash, got the car fixed with no expense to myself, then started getting calls claiming I’ve got £2400 owed to me. Told them I’m not bothered and not trying to get money I don’t deserve, but they just wouldn’t stop. This morning the guy said if I didn’t explain why I’m not claiming, he’d keep ringing and even hung up on me. Ended up blocking the number. The caller was from 0161 402 1182.

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from claims services, saying he was working for Coynes Learmonth and Barings solicitors. He mentioned a car crash from 2013 and said we could claim a few grand for some minor injury - apparently just a “seatbelt jolt” or something. When I started asking about fake whiplash claims and why insurance costs are sky-high, Kevin Taylor, the guy on the phone, got a bit moody. He said I couldn’t fool a pro like him and that he always knew I wouldn’t make a claim. Yeah right, Kev. You’re full of it, and if you call again, I’ll outsmart you for sure. I’m experiencing something very similar. I've been bombarded with unsolicited phone calls all about making a dubious claim for that little bump I had earlier this year. I’ve now blocked the number. It's been relentless-about twenty calls from all sorts of companies pestering me about this insignificant incident. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend returning their calls!

Got calls multiple times on my private landline about a crash supposedly from last year - there’s no way, as the accident happened years ago and we only got this car in March.
