For three days straight last week, I kept getting calls from a number that said it was UKI about a car accident - something none of us have been involved in. But the number isn’t actually linked to UKI. When I dialled it back, the call got redirected through Brazil (+554044161020120), BT confirmed this to me, then the line just dropped. Amazingly, BT said there’s nothing they can do to block these kinds of calls other than keeping an eye on them. They even suggested I either buy one of their BT6500 phones for £34.99 or change my phone number to stop the calls. Pretty frustrating, honestly!
