Got a ring from someone called Louise Green, said she was with the Child Road Safety Campaign. She asked me to pick a school nearby to send their road safety books to, saying I had already agreed back in November. Claimed they’d bill me £180 plus VAT and even send a personalised copy of the book with my name in it. I called her out on it, and she said all calls are recorded. So, I asked for the recording of that supposed agreement, and then she just hung up on me. Bit odd since I wasn’t even in the country back in November, so there’s no way I could’ve agreed to anything then.
