Also, another number 0191 671 9704 has been bugging me for months, first on my landline then on my mobile, with this pushy, annoying, and scary-sounding Indian accent trying to sell PPI, shouting at me not to hang up. The police came round and told me: "These calls are made by an automated system in India that randomly dials numbers. When someone picks up, it connects to a 'random UK number' to make it look like the call is from the UK. It’s not legit! Don’t answer and just block it."
