I received a rather unexpected call this morning from someone claiming that I possessed an online cryptocurrency wallet. They were quite insistent, urging me to take out the funds and reinvest them in additional cryptocurrencies. The thing is, I don’t even have such an account! It strikes me as nothing short of a scam!

I got a call from a lady with an Irish accent claiming to be from some bank I’ve never heard of. She kept saying my account was frozen or something like that. I had no clue what she was on about, so I just told her to jog on and hung up. Pretty sure she was fishing for my banking info.

I got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, which I don’t even have an account with, saying my account was frozen. When I asked them to give me the last four digits of the account number, they just ended the call.

Got a couple of calls, first off from this number, and when I said I wasn't interested, they rang again about an hour later but this time from a mobile, 07916 897257. Both times, it was some supposed new 'bank' named Block Chain... seems fishy to me.
