I received a rather unexpected call this morning from someone claiming that I possessed an online cryptocurrency wallet. They were quite insistent, urging me to take out the funds and reinvest them in additional cryptocurrencies. The thing is, I don’t even have such an account! It strikes me as nothing short of a scam!

I got a call from a lady with an Irish accent claiming to be from some bank I’ve never heard of. She kept saying my account was frozen or something like that. I had no clue what she was on about, so I just told her to jog on and hung up. Pretty sure she was fishing for my banking info.

I got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, which I don’t even have an account with, saying my account was frozen. When I asked them to give me the last four digits of the account number, they just ended the call.

I received a couple of calls from this number; initially, they rang me, and after I politely declined their offer, they tried again an hour later, this time from a mobile number: 07916 897257. Both calls were from a supposedly new 'bank' named Block Chain... Quite the persistence!
