Got a call from someone saying they were with EON, had a really thick Indian accent. When I told them I'm not in charge of any bills, they just hung up. I've blocked the number since then.

someone called pretending to be from eon saying my gas and electric contract was up for renewal. problem is, we aren’t even customers with eon. they kept ringing and pushing me to chat, i ended up just hanging up. then they phoned me two more times after that. i asked over and over to take me off their calling list but they flat out refused. best thing is just don’t pick up if they ring you!

twice last week, i got calls from some bloke pretending to be from e.on. first time i told him to buzz off but he rang again, saying e.on had asked him to get in touch since my contract was supposedly ending - which is rubbish. he was really insistent both calls. sounds like someone’s managed to get hold of e.on's business customers contact info. definitely not a good sign.
