Annoying bloke with an Asian accent keeps ringing me non stop, really rude too. Told him I’d report to the cops if he calls again but he just keeps going. Had what feels like a hundred calls from him already. He says he’s from EON. Checked with our actual energy company and they said its a scam.

This Asian bloke keeps harassing the shop non stop - turns out we ain’t the only ones. He always calls and gets nasty with any of the staff who tell him the boss ain’t about. His favourite line seems to be ‘go f### your mum’, which he throws at everybody. What a lovely guy, eh? How is he not being stopped? Ridiculous!

A guy from Asia kept calling, being really nasty and laughing like he was having a joke at my expense, even though he knew I had customers phoning for business. We told him we weren’t interested and had existing contracts, but he rang about six times altogether. Eventually, I just picked up and left the phone alone for 5 minutes before he finally gave up. Proper rude and aggressive behaviour, this shouldn’t be allowed. It feels illegal, but I have no idea how to make it stop.

I’ve been getting frequent calls from this number, around ten times daily, claiming to represent my electricity provider, which is utterly false. The callers are quite impolite and persistently ignore my requests to stop, ringing me back immediately after I hang up. Is there any way to block this number on a business landline, perchance? Got a call from some guy earlier, wouldn’t say who he was but sounded like he was from India or somewhere in Asia. He got really hostile when I told him I’m not with EON. Told me to f##k off straight away. When I asked why he was being so nasty, he got even madder. I just said I hope everything goes well for him and his family. He didn’t really know how to reply after that. Then I yelled out loud, ‘STOP SCAMMING YOU W****R!’ and slammed the phone down.

Just like the others here, got a call today from someone saying they were with EON and needed to talk to the person responsible for the account. Told them we don’t use EON, but they insisted we did. I asked for my account number with them, and the line went dead straight away. I've saved the number as SCAM CALLER so next time I know exactly who’s trying it on.

Some bloke with a thick Indian accent keeps ringing me about my gas supply with Eon. When I tell him I don't have an account with them, he just shouts "I DO!" When I ask for a refund since I’m with EDF and live in an all-electric building with no gas at all, he just hangs up. I'm seriously thinking about getting a whistle just to mess with this number.

I said yes, and he told me he was from E.on about our energy supply. I told him I wasn’t interested, and then he responded with "F##k you". E.on said it’s apparently a phishing scam.

I received a call from a company purporting to be Eon. Having experienced similar calls previously, I reached out to my account manager at E-on who confirmed that it’s a scam aimed at obtaining meter information. I informed the caller of this, ending the conversation on a civil note. Astonishingly, he rang me back right away, displaying quite the aggressive attitude, to which I pointed out his rudeness before hanging up. To make matters worse, I then received another two annoying calls where the line went dead. I'll certainly be bringing this to the attention of my account manager once again.

02038075287 is a total scammer, they call non-stop like 10-20 times a day asking to speak to the manager. When I say I’m not interested, he claims I owe money on an old Eon bill. Says he’s from Eon or some company, tries to get personal info. Then calls from another number 01613940000 saying I have to switch suppliers or they’ll cut off my gas and electric. I told him to stop ringing me, I’m not interested, but he doesn’t take no for an answer and gets rude on the phone. Then he rings again from 02080891885. Stay warned!

Got a call at work about a week back from someone asking to talk to the manager. When I said he was off on holiday, the caller got really hostile and said I was fibbing because he claimed I told him yesterday he'd be here today. I just ended the call.

Got a call from an Indian bloke saying he was from Eon, asking to talk to the manager (it’s a business number). When I said the manager wasn’t around and didn’t know when they’d be back, he told me to ‘bugger off’ and then just ended the call. If this number rings you, I’d recommend blocking it. Got a call from a bloke in India asking for the manager. I told him no one was around, and he just shouted abuse at me, telling me to f#ck off. Then he rang back like 4 more times in 10 minutes, spouting the same rubbish each time. Finally, I told him to f#ck off myself, and he had the nerve to ask if I wanted to f#ck him! Then he said he was gonna read me the terms and conditions and passed me over to someone else who started going through them. This time he was really aggressive, even knew my wife’s name and our company’s name, then went as far as threatening to abduct her! I’ve blocked his number on every phone here. Just got a call from someone claiming to be with EON, saying they wanted to renew my energy contract. I told him straight up, "We don't use EON." He insisted we did and that he had "my contract right here." I asked him to name my current supplier. He said "NPower." I laughed and said, "So you’re a rival energy company then?" He switched it to "Sorry, Opus Energy!" I couldn’t help but laugh again and said, "Another rival?" Needless to say, I told him where to stick it and hung up. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a rather rude individual from India who became quite aggressive when I asked him a few questions. He claimed to represent Eon, but the conversation quickly deteriorated. After I hung up, he proceeded to call me back not just once, but twice, hurling insults and expletives at me. In a moment of frustration, I ended up shouting into the receiver during his final call, so I do hope he’s regretting his choice of words with a sore eardrum now!

Got a call asking for the owner, saying they were with EON. Same number called last week pretending to be EON too, then suddenly said they worked for Just Eat. I asked if anyone who speaks Chinese (since the owner’s much better with that) was there, and they just replied “This is England, the owner should speak English”. They were asking for mobile numbers and got pretty annoyed, sighing and downright rude with me.

After a short pause (thought they was checking somewhere), I googled their number and found this site. Then they said the owner is James Andrew, which made me chuckle, and I just hung up. I'm Chinese btw, so yeah, dodgy call, just ignore it.

Some daft bloke rang me, wanted to chat to my manager, said he was Zak from Eon, our energy supplier. I told him Eon ain’t our supplier. Then he says, “No, I’m Zak Eon from British Gas.” I’m like, British Gas isn’t our supplier either, give it another go. Scottish Power? No. NPower? Nope. Then he goes on about being a broker called Love Energy who works with loads of companies, so if I tell him who our supplier is, he could say he works for them too. I just said, nah thanks!

Got a call from a guy abroad today, said he rang yesterday and the person on the line was rude to him. Like, seriously? Saying the business owner isn't around is being abusive? Couldn't even say if it was a man or a woman he supposedly spoke to, not that hard to tell, right?
