Got two missed calls from this number, and when I finally answered, they claimed to be from some government student accommodation in England. They mentioned stuff about my email and said they’d inform my uni about some alleged mess-up I supposedly caused. Now they’re giving me just a day to respond, or else they’ll send ‘proof’ to the university. The thing is, I haven’t done a thing, but they’re demanding £12,000! Anyone got advice?

Been getting loads of calls from different numbers but all starting with the same area code. The giveaway is the awkward silence when you pick up. I blocked that one, and now this new number's popped up - time to block again!

They ring me several times daily but I just leave them unanswered nowadays.

This guy first called me, claiming there was something wrong with my computer. I just ended the call, but then he phoned me again from a different number. I didn’t answer the second time. Then the following day, someone rang from a private number, speaking with what seemed like the same Asian accent, saying he was Jake Wilson from Microsoft. I told him I don’t even own a computer, and after a long pause, he just hung up.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, claiming he needed to discuss something about Microsoft and my computer. I told him to remove my number and never to contact me again. He then said he’d keep ringing me until I died. I repeated what he said back to him and he confirmed he'd call me for as long as I was still alive.
