I had a rather dodgy phone call from a chap claiming to work for the Debt Management Department. He mentioned that I had some outstanding loans that needed settling. Quite cheeky, he was keen to get hold of my credit card information and other financial details.

They called me using my own name, which was creepy, then jumped straight into talking about debts I supposedly owed to creditors. Tried pushing to sort it out, but it was a total con. As soon as I realised, I blocked the number without a second thought.

Someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice phoned me, which seemed odd since they don’t usually do cold calls. They told me I had outstanding loans and credit card debts and asked for my financial info to supposedly sort it out.
