9 yearsGot a call from a private number saying I was owed some cash and to call 01613547747. I never phoned back and I’m pretty sure no one needs to pay me anything. Might want to look into this, especially since older folks could easily fall for this.9 yearsI got a call from someone named Alan Watt on 01622 436820, saying he was from this company called 'we fight any claim'. He told me there was a PPI claim worth £2,110 waiting for us. But it didn’t sit right, especially as Alan’s accent sounded like he might be from India or somewhere similar. He asked me to ring 0161 354 7747, give them the reference he gave me, and mention that “Alan Watt gave you the ref number” to supposedly get the money. I checked with 'we fight any claim' directly, and surprise, surprise - they had no link to that number or any record of me or my wife. To make it even creepier, the caller also knew our postcode!Alan WattAlanIndia9 yearsI got a call from "We Fight Any Claim," but the voice sounded Indian and it just didn't seem like how that company normally operates. Something felt off about the whole thing.9 yearsMy dad got a call about some PPI compensation and they told him to call this number. Then they said to sort out the claim, he had to go to Tesco and buy a £150 iTunes voucher and read the code to them on the phone. It sounded dodgy to me straight away.Tesco9 yearsJust got a phone call from a bloke named John Oliver, who said I’d made a claim for PPI recently - which I actually did. But then he handed me a number to ring to get my payout. Bit suspicious if you ask me.John Oliver9 yearsSo, I got a call from this number earlier, and they told me I’d just made a PPI claim. That part’s true, but then they handed me a phone number to ring if I wanted to get my payout today. Bit dodgy if you ask me.Submit Your Own Report (0161 354 7747)
