They wouldn’t say the company name properly, just told me it was something like payment protection team. Wouldn’t say where they got my info from either, just said it’s from a database. Claimed they could help give up to £2500 in loans. I’ve blocked the number now.

They say they’re based in the UK but clearly aren’t. The calls just keep coming non stop and they don’t seem to care about being asked to remove your number or whether they have consent to call you. Sounds like they’re using some dodgy database that probably doesn’t follow ICO rules (should be stored in the EU) since there was no permission given. The calls come from an Asian call centre pretending to be a Manchester number. I wonder what Ofcom and the ICO are actually doing about this?

this feels like a complete con, they say they have a ppi refund ready but need you to verify your info first. they never say who the company is either. they want you to confirm your name spelling and address. i pretended to go along and asked them to tell me which address they had for me - some place i've never even been. then i told them i figured they were scammers and ended the call. dont share any info with these people!
