Got a call supposedly from TalkTalk again, and I honestly almost fell for it since my internet had been acting up recently. They said I had to provide an 8-digit code to get a £200 refund before they could send a new router over. That set off alarm bells straight away. Then they tried to get me to log into my online banking - nope, no way! I double-checked with TalkTalk and they said it’s a total scam.

Got three calls from this number earlier today. Every time I answered, all I could hear was some weird background noise and then the call just ended. Honestly, don't waste your time picking up!

So this bloke claimed he was ringing from TalkTalk and sounded like it was some sort of call centre. He said there was a fault with my router and I had to install some software. I asked him to show he was legit and when he couldn't, I just ended the call straight away.

Somebody phoned me saying they were from TalkTalk, telling me my internet was gonna cut out for two weeks but they could fix it. I said I’d call TalkTalk myself to see what was going on. When I did, they told me it definitely wasn’t them and that I’d nearly been scammed.
