They keep ringing me claiming to be from a PPI service, insisting that they'll dispatch a pack to my home within a couple of days. However, they’re keen on fishing for personal details like my date of birth and address. I've told them at least eight times to leave me alone and remove my number from their list, yet they just keep calling back, sometimes just hours later or the following day. It's always some chap or chapess with an American twang on the other end, despite the fact that the area code is from Manchester. I suspect it's all just a con. I've gone ahead and blocked their number after they harassed me more than ten times. Each time I ask them to take me off their call list, they simply ignore it and ring again the very next day!

This number is definitely a scam. They say they’re from PPI and promise to send you a pack within a couple of business days to your home. Then they try to get personal details like your address and birthday. I’ve told them repeatedly to remove me from their call list, at least 8 times, but they still ring me back either later the same day or the next. I’ve had to block them now. If you’ve got an iPhone, you can go into your calls, tap the little “i” icon, and then choose to block the number. They might still leave a voicemail, but at least you won’t have to answer or chat with these scammers!
