When will the big organisations like BT, TPS and the rest finally do something about these cold calls from companies trying to rip people off?? It's beyond ridiculous now - we get about six or seven calls EVERY SINGLE DAY from scammers and pushy sales people, and I’m so fed up. Does anyone know who we can report this to? Any advice would be really appreciated. It’s just harassment and there should definitely be a proper law to stop it.

Got a call from AMS claiming they’d just received a file about a car accident involving me. They never even said my name. Hung up and blocked them straight away.

Loads of calls kept coming through to my wife’s phone. When I picked up, the bloke called me by my first name and started talking about an accident. He had a really pushy, almost bullying attitude. I asked him where he got my number from, and he claimed my insurance company told him to ring me. He kept calling me ‘mate’ and refused to admit it was one of those random cold calls you don’t want.

Got a call from AMS Accident Management Solutions, and they actually used my first name! I asked her where she got my info from. She kept chatting and mentioned some accident I supposedly had. What accident? Then she just hung up.

Got a call from AMS saying I’d had a car crash or something! Told them I never did and they came back with maybe it was someone living with me?! Ended the call and blocked the number straight away!

Some bloke rang me up sayin he wanted to chat about a car crash I’d supposedly been in (which I never was). When I told him the only crash was me pickin up the phone, he just told me to have a good day and to get lost.
