So, a guy with an Asian accent answered after a bit of a pause and asked if he was speaking to me by name. Then he said he was calling from 'Assured Life Insurance' and asked if I had any life insurance. I told him I don’t share personal details on calls like that. He just ended the call after that.

Got a call from some Asian call centre showing up as a UK landline but clearly an international number. The guy asked for my husband. When I kept asking questions, he launched into some spiel about life insurance. Got a call from some Asian guy saying he was from Windows and that there was a problem with my PC. He said he was from an IT firm but then just dropped the call real quick. Picked up the phone and nobody said a word. To me, any quiet call like this feels like harassment and I'll be reporting it straight away. Maybe it was an automated dialler.
