There was this odd noise in the background, like a bunch of people chatting in a call centre or sumthin, and the bloke on the phone was chuckling about something. He said hello, I said hello back, then he just hung up on me. Proper weird. I mean, I guess it’s the kinda gig you take if you can't find anything better, but I thought maybe they’d try a bit harder, just so I could mess around with him a bit. Guess not, which kinda explains why he ended up annoying folk at a call centre all day.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from BT Openreach, said he was working on the lines here and that I had to change something on my router. Sounded really dodgy to me, so I asked for his number, jotted it down, and then I just ended the call.

Got a call from Peter claiming to be from the National Accident Database, trying to see if I’d been in any crashes they could exploit for a share. This was the third time they’ve bugged me about it. Ended up wasting nearly half an hour of their time on the phone instead.

This number has phoned me about three times just this past week. The person on the line claims they're calling for the UK accident helpline. I usually don’t even let them finish their usual script before telling them to **** off and then ending the call. They’re really stubborn, calling even though I’m signed up with the TPS. Such a pain!

Keeps ringing our office line, pretending to be from the 'UK Accident Helpline' trying to scam accident claims. They’re pretty relentless, almost everyone in our team has picked up at least once. We even got two calls from them at the exact same time once. If you want to stop them, just ask for their 'Ministry of Justice registration number' - usually makes them drop off sharpish. Worth a try!

There was a strong foreign accent which made it hard to understand, so he had to say the question a couple of times. He was asking if anyone in my family had any accidents or something like that.

Today at about 11:40, I got a call from this number. I reckon it’s linked to one of those TalkTalk scams. I usually block such calls, so they normally don’t get through. Just a heads up, don’t answer if someone says they’re from TalkTalk or a Microsoft tech support worker. They’ll claim your PC has a big issue that needs fixing, but really, they want you to install harmful software so they can nick your bank info and wipe out your cash. Stay careful out there!
