They rang me roughly six times today and when I asked them to remove my info from their records, they got really rude and just slammed the phone down on me.

Some bloke called Michael Smith offered me a £1000 loan for £48 a month. Then he said I had to pay £25, then £75, then £200 twice. Asked for my bank info but I said no. He got really rude and I told him I’d report him cos it’s clearly a scam. He just laughed at me. What the hell? How do these conmen get away with this?

This firm is connected to Ross & Liddell at 60 St Enoch Square, Glasgow G1 4AW, who are known for major fraud and embezzlement. They’ll send you threatening messages that could lead to your property being attacked with petrol bombs. They also seem to have ties to some really dodgy criminals.

This bloke Michael Smith is an absolute nightmare! I ended up foolishly handing over £550 in advance for a loan of £1000. Then he demanded another £200, saying I'd get the loan same day. DO NOT FALL FOR IT, it’s a complete CON! When I asked for my cash back, they refused, claiming the loan was already processed. I’m now sorting this out properly.

I just had an unexpected call about a £1000 loan. They followed it up with an email containing a loan agreement, but it was from two different names: Savage Finance and Pulse Finance. Regrettably, I ended up providing my bank information. They insisted on a £25 upfront fee, and shockingly, they asked for it in the form of an iTunes gift card. It's clearly a scam!

I got tricked by this number just yesterday. Honestly, can’t believe I was so daft. They swiped £100 from me. They used the name Michael too and said they were from Savage Finance.

0161 called me asking for my bank info saying £1000 would be sent to me. I was daft enough to give it but then felt fishy and looked up savagefinance. Turns out there’s a massive WARNING about them. I cancelled my bank details straight away. Please be careful before handing out info, this is a proper scam and needs sorting out quick!

Got a call saying I’d been approved for a loan but with strings attached. First, they asked if I could find a guarantor - obviously no. Then they wanted me to pay £75 upfront - no again. Lastly, they asked me to buy a £50 iTunes voucher - also no. Complete scam. None of these callers ever say where they’re calling from and not one speaks with an English accent!

This number has been constantly calling and emailing me claiming I have £1000 ready to be sent to me. When I asked about it over the phone, the lady just kept asking for my info, so I ended the call. Then this morning I got an email again about the £1000, saying all I need to do is send my bank details and pay £104 to get it. Seriously, steer clear of this one, total scam! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

They said I could get a 1000 quid loan today and everything was ready to be sent to my account. They asked me to pay 25 quid by Baysave, and stupidly I went ahead. Then they wanted me to pay another 75 quid. I checked their website and it had all the normal info but no phone number anywhere. Thats when I found this site, cheers for helping me out. I’m ok with losing 25 quid but not the full 100. Sorry to hear about all the others who lost money too.

I just gave them my bank info, what should I do now? Can anyone tell me the company name that appears on the bank statement so I can block it? Thanks. Also, we should all unite and report this to trading standards. You can reach me at [email protected][###]

They said I could get a loan of £1000 today, everything was supposedly arranged and would go straight into my account. I sent £25 through PaySafe, feeling a bit daft, but then they asked for another £75. I checked their website - info looked legit but there wasn’t any phone number to call. Luckily, I stumbled upon this site and it really helped. I’m okay losing the £25, but not the full 100. Sorry to hear about everyone else’s bad experiences.

I almost got caught out by this. First off, they asked me to change my email address which seemed a bit dodgy right away. Then they wanted me to pay £25 upfront. I didn’t have the money ready, but I was willing to pop into town to sort it out. Then I got a bit of a cheeky email saying it clearly states you NEED to pay the £25 - that really made me suspicious. I rang my bank and changed my info straight away. Did some digging around and my instincts were spot on, it was definitely a scam.

So this bloke named Michael, who I been chatting with, took £325 from me in advance. He said the money was sent and would appear in my bank the very next day, but it’s still not showing and that was last Thursday. Now, when I ring the number, nobody picks up and my emails just get ignored.

Some bloke named Michael rang me saying I had £1000 ready to be claimed if I paid £25 first. I kinda knew it was dodgy. He asked if it was cash or card, so I said cash, just to see what he'd say next. Then he told me to buy an iTunes voucher from Tesco and send him the code so he'd “put £1000 in my bank.” Haha, I called him back, gave him a made-up number, and told him to get lost.
