i called this number back after it rang me and it turned out to be the nhs with a message saying 'you don't need to take any action, we'll try to reach you again within the next 24 hours'. i got pretty anxious coz i couldn’t figure out why the nhs would be ringing me at half past six on a sunday night. still can’t shake off the worry that maybe something’s gone wrong with a family member.

The other day, I got a call from this number that really irked me. It was an automated message, claiming to be conducting a survey on behalf of the NHS. The voice was distinctly female, but I chose to hang up right away without engaging. Frankly, I’m tired to death of these scams that keep popping up. Many elderly individuals could easily get caught up in these tricks. I'm over seventy myself and I consider myself fairly savvy about these sorts of things, but I worry about those who might not be so fortunate. It's absolutely appalling that such calls are happening at all.
