Despite his insistence on the urgency of the matter, I chose not to return the call. Something definitely felt off about the entire exchange...

My mother received a call from a blocked number, with the caller claiming to be from Windows, stating they had identified an error on her computer. Unsurprisingly, she was rather apprehensive and requested a callback number for when I could be by her side. They provided her with a number, which I then looked up online. While the website appears quite polished at first glance, upon further inspection, I found it to be rather dubious. Just a heads-up to everyone out there!

I received a call from someone pretending to be from a dodgy tech support service claiming there were issues with my computer. The guy on the line introduced himself as "Albert" and said he was situated in Waterloo Park, London, yet he couldn't even tell me his postcode. Quite suspicious!
