They claim to be affiliated with Vodafone, but after reaching out to Vodafone directly, they confirmed that’s a blatant lie! I’ve had this number ring me three times already, the 9th, 11th, and 23rd of October. Missed the first two but picked up the last one. The caller said something like, “Hello, this is SLM Connect. We’re contacting you as a valued Vodafone customer, and Vodafone wants to offer you a special reward.” I just said “yeah” because I wasn’t sure what else to say. They kept repeating the message, and I kept responding with “yeah.” Then the guy told me he couldn’t hear me and just hung up. Later, I checked and realised it was the same number that had called weeks before. I even tweeted Vodafone about it after looking up the number here, and they said they weren’t linked to it at all - so it’s just another cold call scam.
