We answered the mobile call for our mate, suspecting it was an unsolicited offer of some sort. I asked the caller for her name, but she flat out refused to share it. After some back and forth, we told her to relay a message instead, but she wouldn't oblige. Then we suggested that she reach out via post, which she also dismissed. She kept pushing us to provide another contact number for our friend and demanded to know their whereabouts. We kept trying to figure out who we were actually speaking to, but before we could get anywhere, she hung up on us!

It's evident that you're in the UK, and it seems you might be nearing the end of your Orange contract. We figured this out after receiving a call from these individuals. As soon as I mentioned that I’d be switching to Three, their response was simply to say, "Just contact Orange for your PAC code!" and they promptly hung up on me. Much appreciated for the assistance!

A chap named Sean called at around 3.40 PM, inquiring whether our address is a commercial one or a private residence. The moment we mentioned it was a bit of both, the line went silent. He tried to ring back, but the number was unreachable. Quite curious, wasn’t it?

Received a rather unexpected call from "Energy UK" inquiring whether our address is residential or commercial. Since it's the latter, and considering we're already forking out for the call to be redirected to our mobile, we politely declined and ended the conversation. Strangely enough, they had the audacity to ring us back not once, but three times! To my knowledge, it seems like nothing more than unwanted spam. I'm quite puzzled as to how they've obtained our name in the first place. Honestly, how bothersome!

I can honestly say that the company that reached out to me is quite reputable. They’ve been sorting out our contracts annually without a hitch. So far, I’ve had no issues at all with them, especially since they also manage our energy needs. I consider them a reliable firm that we’ve come to trust. Definitely worth giving them a try!

This lot just gave us a bell. They mentioned they were from some energy company, and oddly enough, they seemed to know our surname as well. We made it clear from the get-go that we weren't interested. It really feels like they're peddling my personal information. Not at all pleased about this situation.

We had a rather unusual call from a company claiming to be 'UK Energy' on our office line. They asserted that we’re shelling out more than necessary for our electricity consumption. It seems they’re affiliated with various energy providers, but upon being handed over to the sales division, an Irish gentleman started pushing an E.ON deal, which we’re not particularly keen on. To make matters worse, they resorted to threatening us with having our meter padlocked, and the call ended in a rather aggressive manner when I couldn’t continue conversing. We’re feeling quite dubious about their intentions. It certainly appears that they’re desperate for clients. Any insights you might have on this company would be greatly appreciated!

Over the last forty-eight hours, we've been inundated with persistent calls from this number, both on our home phone and mobile devices! It seems these individuals have managed to get hold of our personal details somehow. As it turns out, they tend to target newly established businesses, claiming that there's been a failure to read our electricity meter and insisting that they need to send someone round immediately. Quite fortuitously, we see right through this ruse! We're receiving no fewer than five calls daily. It’s clearly nothing but a scam, and to make matters worse, the callers are utterly rude.

This morning, around ten, we received a call from a gentleman who wanted to chat with me. We responded that I was available, and he proceeded to ask if we had recently settled into our new residence. Oddly, we've been residing here for four years! We politely declined his inquiry, at which point he abruptly hung up on us. Initially, he was quite civil, but then he turned rather rude and curt. He mentioned he was with Energy UK and was trying to determine if we were a business or residential customer. Quite the strange encounter, if you ask me!

Absolute muppets! Just had a bleedin' call from some bloke around half eight this morning at our workplace, insisting he needed to speak to our dad. Let me tell you, I was far from bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at that ungodly hour. I’d only barely managed to get out a response when he abruptly ended the call, leaving me utterly baffled. Rude and utterly inconsiderate, if you ask me. I’ve saved their number under “NO MERSEY” in my phone. Usually, I’m a peaceful soul, all about good vibes and love, but honestly, this was just too much. Apologies for the grammar; it’s early!

We attempted to call them back to find out precisely what these individuals required, but the number just doesn't connect. It seems like they don't take any calls. Quite strange, considering the rather dimwit lass we chatted with (Rochine) gave us this number right after we mentioned we'd get back to her. Looks like a bunch of charlatans to us!

Received a call on the evening of 11th July 2008 from someone asking to speak to (my full name). Initially, they were polite, but once we confirmed who we were, they abruptly asked whether our address was for a business or a home. As soon as we answered, they hung up quite suddenly, which left us feeling rather uneasy. We tried ringing the number back, but it was just a dead line. Even our mobile service provider tried to reach it, and they encountered the same useless dead line. It definitely felt like we were dealing with a dodgy company that we wouldn’t even bother to contact again.
