There was a lot of confusion and a few laughs before they just ended the call after about ten minutes.

Got a call from some dodgy accident claims lot - sounded like a scam to me. It was an autodialer with a lag before someone came on the line. The bloke on the phone tried to speak British but had a strong Asian accent. He kept saying "I am calling you on your accident" or something like that. When I asked straight up who they were and what company they represented, they instantly ended the call. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from a fake accident claims number - total scam. The phone rang automatically and after a pause, someone with an Asian accent started saying, “I’m calling about your accident.” When I asked straight up who they were, why they called, and where they were from, they just hung up. Proper dodgy!

This number keeps ringing me up like 7 to 9 times daily, sometimes even more. It’s started on my mobile too, but thankfully I’ve got Truecaller there so I can block them. I told them to cut it out and just hung up, but they keep ringing anyway. It’s getting a bit much when you can’t even pick up your own landline without getting bothered.

I've had this number ring me loads, claiming to be some accident claim service, but I've never had an accident in my life. The person on the line sounded Asian. Usually, I just hang up straight away, but it's so annoying how they even get my number when it's supposed to be ex-directory. I worry about elderly folks living alone - these calls could really scare them, and they might even be persuaded to send money. It came from a Manchester number, but I'm pretty sure it was actually from somewhere in Asia. Could be some dodgy ambulance chasing, but I'd bet it's just a scam. I’m ex-D and on the TPS list. Properly irritating.

I got a call from a number that wasn’t on the list, even though they were supposed to be TPS-registered. The person said they were with some "Accident Helpline" or something. Sounded like it was one of those call centres from Asia. I told the guy he was breaking the law and asked who he was. He just said “Max” and then hung up straight away.
