My elderly mother, who’s 84, has been plagued by incessant calls from this number. She decided to call back and ended up stuck on hold, which racked up quite a hefty bill on her mobile. After all that waiting, the line was suddenly cut off. These persistent calls are really distressing for her, and it’s baffling that such practices are permitted. This ought to be addressed!

As for any calls from unfamiliar numbers, like the one in question, they’re promptly routed to your voicemail. If the caller isn't leaving a message, it simply cuts off the call. Absolutely fantastic, if you ask me!

I ended up having to switch to a different phone because they just wouldn’t leave me alone. Now they’re calling my new number! I don’t bother picking up if it’s not in my contacts-straightforward really. But these persistent callers just don’t seem to take a hint!

They’ve called me like four times over a couple of weeks, all trying to sell me pay as you go SIM cards. I gave them my info without thinking much, but told them I wouldn’t pass the credit check. Tonight when they called again, it hit me they actually knew I wouldn’t pass but kept pushing anyway. The background was really quiet and something felt off. I’ve received several calls from this number, and it appears to be related to Sales - but the latter part of the name escapes me. Every time I pick up, they just hang up. When I attempt to return the call, I’m met with a message stating it’s Sales, but once more, I can’t decipher the second half. They seem to suggest that if I can't hold for an agent, I should ring back later. Yet if you choose to stick around, all you hear is “please hold while we endeavour to connect you.” Quite frankly, on the first call, they did mention ‘02’, which is my mobile provider, so I’m left wondering if this might be linked to their marketing efforts. I do hope that’s not the case!

Got a call on my mobile today 4/3/15, bloke said he was from 02 and that my SIM was pay as you go with them. I told him no, it’s not, but he insisted it was. Then he asked if I had a contract and paid via bank, I didn’t wanna say. He then said if I wasn’t pay as you go, the deal he had wouldn’t apply, so I just said obviously not and hung up. But if this was a scam, why could I still see their number on my caller ID?

I attempted to call this establishment but couldn't pick up in time, only to hear a recorded message welcoming me to Sales Gem. I’m truly frustrated as I spent a good twenty minutes waiting in vain for someone to respond, stuck listening to a monotonous voice assuring me that my call was important.
