The caller claimed to be from Opus and said we'd shifted to emergency rates because our contract had finished. But our contract still has six months left and they couldnt provide the password they were supposed to know to talk to us. Definitely dodgy.

Somebody rang and claimed to be from O2, so I just hung up straight away.

I had a missed call earlier, but I decided to answer when they called back after three hours. The person claimed to be from O2, my mobile provider, even though they had the wrong name for me (I'm not Miss Green). They mentioned something about a sim card that I had supposedly ordered, which I hadn't. They asked if it was for me or someone else. Feeling suspicious, I ended the call and blocked the number on my phone. Interestingly, between these two calls, I received a text from 88440. The text addressed me as Eiliah (which is also not my name) and thanked me for confirming my order. It offered to send me a free O2 sim card if I clicked on a link provided: http://free.o2sim.co/1XLjXh. Naturally, I refrained from clicking on the link. However, I did forward the text and report about the phone call to 7726, which is the spam reporting service offered by O2. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Received a text message from a number ending in 88440, confirming an order for a SIM card under the name Stephen. I want to clarify that my name is not Stephen. Shortly thereafter, I received two phone calls from the same number. I chose to ignore the first call and unfortunately missed the second one.
