4 yearsThe caller refused to say who they actually were and just kept asking if there was any damage at my house. I told them I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that they shouldn’t be ringing my personal mobile. I also warned them I’d report it to the ICO if they kept calling. Because I wear a hearing aid, it was hard to understand them - they had quite a strong African accent. Felt like I was just talking to a wall. They never gave their name and just ignored me when I asked them to stop and not ring again. Eventually I had to hang up because they completely ignored my requests to end the call.
