Someone phoned saying they were from housing repairs, asking if there were any issues with my home. Felt a bit suspicious about it.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from a repairs firm that works with council and housing association properties. Thing is, every council or housing association usually has their own local tradespeople, so it sounded off. Plus, this company said they’re based in Manchester, but I’m in London. When I mentioned that to the bloke on the line, who had an Indian accent, he just chuckled - not what you’d expect from a professional company, right? I’m convinced it’s a dodgy scam, and they keep ringing my landline here in London. Quite frustrating!
