They kept ringing me throughout the day, but I couldn't answer coz I was busy with work. Then they got my husband on the phone and somehow persuaded him to agree to some warranty we really didn't need. Luckily, he remembered what I'd told him about looking things up online first and found out it might be dodgy. He quickly called the bank, which cancelled the payment and are sending him a replacement card now. Pretty relieved it didn't go any further!

I said hello when I picked up but there was no reply at all. I just waited about ten seconds, hearing nothing, then I decided to end the call.

Got a call following up on something I bought from ao.com, seemed really friendly and quite convincing. They mentioned a voucher since I’ve spent quite a bit with ao.com through the years, then asked if I had my bank details ready to add on some extra breakdown cover. I said no thanks, and he was perfectly polite about it.

these fools rang me trying to verify my insurance details, so I asked them who their insurer was. mate, he couldnt give me a straight answer and got rude when I kept interrupting his rehearsed spiel. I ended up reporting them straight away.

Just got a call from a bloke who sounded Indian, saying he wanted to go over my life insurance details. He seemed to know loads about me but when I asked where I live, he just dropped the call. Proper rubbish.
