I just kept quiet and it ended the call. From what I’ve read in the comments, if it really is AO, bit let down since they seem to have decent deals. But if it’s about insurance, is it them or another company connected to AO? Either way, they’re blocked now!

I got a call from a 01273 (Brighton) number earlier but didn’t answer since I only pick up calls I recognise. I used 1471 and the number that came back was 01612350400, which isn’t a Brighton number. I did place an order with AO this morning, so guess it was them like others have said.

I got a missed call from a 0141 number first, which is a Glasgow area code. When I rang back, it was about a household appliance I’d ordered. The bloke then started going on and on about taking away the old one and how often I use my dryer, seemed like he was just trying to keep me talking. I ended the call pretty quick. Then I got another call from a 0161 number, turns out it was the same lot. Honestly, seemed a bit dodgy like a scam to rack up your phone charges, so watch out!

I said no thanks. The woman calling was nice about it, didn’t push me at all. She just double-checked my delivery info and then said have a good night. Quite a straightforward call really.
