Got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be with Candis magazine, which I actually get. They said they’re offering some kind of SOS service and would send me info to check out. Told me I’d have to ring back after two weeks to stop a direct debit they’d arrange. Nah, not for me, I just hung up. Not interested at all.

Called me earlier, and they had my name, address and postcode right, but when they gave a date of birth it was totally wrong. They then wanted me to confirm the dob, which I declined. At first I figured it was from Candis magazine since I get that, but now I’m not so sure about that.

Then, around 4:30pm, the phone rings and the caller's asking for the ex, who's been off the grid phone-wise for ages now.
