Got a call from 01603383458 earlier. When I picked up, the caller asked for me by name. It was a lady claiming to be from EARF, said it’s the East Anglian Roofing Firm. Asked for her name back and she just hung up on me in an annoying way. Total waste of my time, frankly rubbish.

I asked her for more details about who she was, and she just hung up on me quite abruptly. What a waste of time, total rubbish call.

Someone called looking for a certain name. When I asked who they were, and said he might have the wrong person, he got really rude, like saying "What the hell man", then just cut the call.

Turns out Eastern Energy Care is just East Anglia Roofing Solutions Ltd with the number 01603 383483. They've been reported to Trading Standards and the ICO because they keep ringing people up and haven't even bothered to register as a data controller.

Just got a ring from this number, they claimed they were checking up on a survey I supposedly did half a year ago (not true, I never do surveys) and trying to give out vouchers for home repairs. I told them I wasn’t bothered. Pretty sure the whole survey tale is a trick to dodge the cold call regulations.

Got a call from a number that said it was local to Norwich. They were offering double glazing services around here. Said they could give me a quote for my garage flat roof, but I don’t even have one! The phone number they used looks almost the same as East Anglia Windows Ltd’s number 01603383483, which is a proper business. Seems dodgy to me.

I picked up when this number rang me. There was loads of background noise like a busy call centre, but they just cut off without speaking. Guess they decided I wasn't the easy target they were after.

Got a call from a bloke pretending to be from a roofing and windows firm, but he somehow knew my name and old address. When I told him I’d moved, he kept asking questions about where I am now. I didn’t give him my new address though. Then he asked if I was at the house right then, and I said yes - now I’m proper worried he might’ve tracked my location or something. The whole call felt really dodgy.

the guy asked if I was Mrs ----------, I asked who was calling, then he just hung up. he did have the correct name though. this isn’t the first time I’ve had a call from this number either.

This aint no scam, its just vouchers for any work you might wanna get done later on. A company rep comes round, gives you a quote and hands over the voucher after measuring up. Then its totally your choice if you wanna come back and spend the vouchers - pretty straightforward really.

They hid their real number by showing a local area code so I answered, thinking it was someone I knew calling back. It was a company called East Anglia Windows and Conservatories. Total cold call, and I reckon they got my details from somewhere dodgy. Told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Thought cold calling was banned nowadays?

Then, just a couple of minutes later, they rang back asking if I was some other person. I told them they’d just called me and I wasn’t interested. Asked where they got my number from, and they said it was from a survey done a few weeks ago. I said I definitely didn’t take part and that I’m on the TPS register.

Got a call today from someone saying they were fixing up a property nearby and didn’t wanna cause any trouble. My husband asked which property but they wouldn’t say, just kept saying it was really close. Then they rambled on about all the jobs they do and asked if we wanted anything done.
