Got a call from someone saying they were with Green Team, and they even said my mum’s full name! That was a bit creepy. The lady on the phone spoke in this odd Norfolk accent, all weird and slurred like she’d had a bit too much to drink or something. I told her I wasn’t interested in their survey and just ended the call.

Some bloke called claiming to be an “energy surveyor” checking homes around the area. When I told him I was just renting and not the owner, he hung up right away. Honestly, that’s the quickest way to shut them down - just say you’re a tenant even if you own the place, don’t let 'em get a foot in the door. Sounds like one of those jobs where they try to do an energy check but it’s really a sneaky way to push some hard sell later on.

Got a call claiming it was for some local marketing survey or something like that... the typical thing where they act all nice but are really just trying to push discount coupons for gutter cleaning and stuff. They don’t simply send you the vouchers either - they want you to go through loads of questions first. Honestly, I’m sick of these calls. Even though I’m on the TPS, they still manage to ring up. I really wish those folks from the ‘Anglian Green Energy Team’ would quit hassling older people like me and find a proper job instead.

The number is linked to East Anglian Home Improvements, who took over from Anglian Windows. They are a legitimate firm offering replacement windows, doors, and other stuff. That said, they've been known to do cold calls which can be pretty irritating. If I ever need their services, I’d rather pick out a trusted provider myself and get in touch instead of them ringing me out of the blue.

I'd strongly advise steering clear of this number. The person on the other end fancied themselves as representing an energy-saving firm, and they wanted me to fill out a supposedly free energy survey. I've got several reasons to suspect this was a dodgy phishing attempt.

Lucky I caught the call with Call Guardian. If it’s Anglia Roofing Solutions or anyone alike, they did a patch-up on our roof ages ago. I’ve told them loads of times to stop ringing because the quality was rubbish, none of the lads could really speak English properly, they were using ladders balanced on their van’s roof to get onto our three-storey roof, and the paint overspray ended up wrecking our patio chairs, windows and stuff.

This bloke showed up at my mother-in-law’s place, said he’d rung before about fixing the roof or whatever needed done. Funny thing is, my wife happened to be there and asked him what exactly he was after. The guy couldn’t even give a straight answer. I’m just glad she was around, cuz who knows what kind of nonsense he might have convinced her to agree to, especially when the house is perfectly fine. Watch out for these sorts of folk!

My elderly dad got a call out of the blue. He told the telesales chap he wasn’t interested, but the guy just kept pushing, wouldn’t accept a refusal. Then the next day, a different bloke phoned to say he’d be calling round at 2pm to see my dad; again, no taking no for an answer. So I called the firm, told them I’d be there to meet this salesman at my dad’s place. In the end, the bloke never showed. This was with Anglian Roofing Solutions from Norwich.

Got a call from this number where a lady claimed I’d talked to them on 27th Jan about some vouchers. I’m on the TPS so usually don’t take calls like this. She said she’d just played me a recording of that chat and that the voice sounded exactly like mine! I told her that couldn’t be right as we weren’t even in the country back then. Just a heads up, these calls seem dodgy, so be careful and don’t fall for any tricks.
