I picked up the phone and there was no one speaking, so I reckon they’re just checking which mobile numbers are active. Most likely they want to sell this info, meaning you’ll end up getting loads more spam or even dodgy calls trying to scam you. Best thing is to only pick up when it’s someone you recognise. If it’s important they can always leave a message.
