Got this call from what sounded like an Indian call centre, they kept asking "Is this ??? speaking?" I said no and just hung up. Big thanks to folks who've shared their stories about these calls here, made me chuckle!

Been getting calls from this number a few times today. On the latest one, they wanted me to use the name of my town as my last name! Then they asked if I own my place, which I said no. I asked where they were calling from, just said I was out, and then they cut off. Put them on my phone's block list now.

Got a call from 01587500456, bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from some number blocking service. He asked if I was over 85, and when I said no, he went on about me sounding younger than that. Then he started chatting about my Visa card expiring in 2019 and told me to sort it out. I told him I was going to hang up, but he tried to argue to keep me talking. The phone rang just after, and when I checked with 1471, it was the same number calling back! Pretty clear that was a scam trying to nick my card info.

Someone said they were from TPS and had the usual spiel like with other calls I've had. Strangely, they even mentioned my credit card had expired in 2020, which freaked me out a bit. Then they tried to make me pay about £21 to stop telemarketing calls forever! I just hung up straight away. They called me back afterwards but I ignored it. Watch out for this one!

They said they were from TPS to block calls but then asked for my bank card info - total scam.

Got called by a woman speaking with an Indian accent, saying she was from some call blocking company. She tried to check my address by quoting an old one I used to live at. I asked her repeatedly who she was and which firm she worked for. Then I said I already have call blocking through my phone provider, so obviously she was trying to rip me off. She just ended the call after that. Be careful and never share your info with people like this!

I've had calls from this number like 6 times within just one day. I just keep hanging up straight away!

They’ve rang me a few times since yesterday, but my phone’s got this blocker thing that stops calls unless the caller says who they are first - which they never did. So, I ended up searching online to see who it was. (All my phone normally shows me is missed numbers). Honestly, I’d recommend this BT Advanced cordless phone, it blocks annoying calls all the time. Since getting it, I haven’t had a single nuisance call get through!

Got a call from 01587500456, some bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from a number blocking service. Phone rang again shortly after, and checking 1471 showed it was the exact same number calling right back! Pretty clear this was a dodgy scam trying to nab my card info.

The voice had a very Indian accent when I picked up. After that, I just hung up straight away. They rang me again within a day, like twice in 24 hours. Didn’t feel right at all, seemed sketchy!
