Had this idiot calling, with some weird accent, babbling something about my internet or whatever. Couldnt make head nor tail of the nonsense they were spouting. Sorted by blocking straight away!

Got a dodgy call warning that my BT broadband would get cancelled if I didn’t do what they said. The funny thing is, I don’t even use BT! Hit the big red button and sorted. If you don’t own a landline call blocker yet, have a look on Amazon for one - they’re proper handy for peace and quiet. Totally worth it!

Somebody rang saying they were from my internet company and warned me my service would be cut off today if I didn’t press 3 to get connected. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

Honestly, how long are the officials going to sit on their hands before tackling these scams? They seem made to trap the elderly and those who can least afford it. Plus, it’s such a breach of privacy - yet the same people who claim to guard our privacy fiercely turn a blind eye when it comes to this nonsense. It’s beyond frustrating!

I just caught the beginning of an automated call about BT internet, but after that it all got jumbled up and I couldn't figure out what the scam was supposed to be. Luckily I don't use BT, so it’s nothing to worry about for me.

I get a call from the same lot every single morning, and it wakes me up no matter what. They keep banging on about my IP address being hacked loads of times across different European countries. They never mention what internet company I’m with, which makes me think it’s a bit suspicious. Tried to block the number but can't seem to do that on my landline.

On a Thursday afternoon, sometime around 2:11pm in July 2018, I got a call from a woman’s voice saying my BT internet was about to be cut off - which is strange cause I don’t even have BT internet. Definitely a scam. The call came from a blocked number.

Got a call from this number around 1.26pm today. The voicemail was in what sounded like a Filipino accent, saying my BT internet was going to be cut off today. Thing is, I don’t even use BT for internet, so it’s obviously a scam. The message told me to press 2 if I wanted to disconnect the service. Please be cautious, don’t press 2 because it might end up costing you loads!
