Got a call from a bloke claiming he was conducting a survey. I told him he’d rung the wrong place, but he insisted he hadn’t and wanted to ask some questions to anyone over 18. I said there’s no one over 18 living here, and he just ended the call straight away!

Later I noticed they’d tried to call me three times today since around 11 in the morning. I wasn’t even home, plus who on earth calls on a Sunday evening?! It’s just annoying. Got a call on a Sunday from a guy with a quiet voice, asking if I could answer a few questions for some market research. I told him I’m on the TPS and he really shouldn’t be ringing me at all, especially not on a Sunday. No clue what his angle was, but I’m considering it harassment.

On the 8th of November 2019 around 10:10 in the morning, I got a call about the election, they were asking how they got my phone number. I told them no, we’re on the TPS list. Right away, the caller said sorry and ended the call.

Got a call around 9 in the evening. I have an answerphone set up but the caller just dropped the call right when it started playing! The number showed up on my landline and looked like it was from Luton. I never pick up if I don’t know the number or it looks suspicious. If it’s something important, they usually leave their name and a contact number so I can ring them back!

A bloke answered and said something like ‘this is iar itd, leave your number and we’ll get back to you.’ Didn’t bother leaving my details, just hung up straight away. From what I’ve read in other comments, this is probably gr itd doing a survey about voter opinions for the upcoming election.
