I got a call from an automated female voice claiming to be from BT saying, "We've been attempting to contact you - your BT landline and internet service could be cut off due to suspicious activity - press 1 to speak to an agent." Of course, I didn’t press anything. But weirdly, when I tried calling that number back from my phone, it just said the number doesn’t exist! So how on earth did they ring me in the first place? Completely baffled by this!
