I got a voice message on my answerphone saying something like "Press 1 to verify your payment" and "Press 2 to talk to customer support." Quite clearly an automated call.

Got a call from an automated voice claiming it was for visa verification. Sounded fishy to me.

Got a call on my home phone from an automated voice saying there was a £900 visa payment leaving my bank. It told me to press 2 if I wanted to talk to an advisor. The person on the other end then greeted me by name, which I reckon was from the phone directory. When I asked about which bank account they mentioned two different banks, both wrong obviously. Total con, not falling for that!
