Total scam alert! Got this automated call from a lady saying she’s from my internet provider - some woman named Kate, apparently. She rambled something about hackers attacking government computers and warned my service would be cut off in 24 hours if I didn’t ring 01213688210. I didn’t bother calling back. When I held on to talk to someone, all I got was a load of noisy silence like a call centre, then they just hung up on me. Dodgy as hell.

This morning at about 8:30, I got a call from 01565870377 warning me that I’d been on a dodgy government site that’s been hacked and that my landline was going to be disconnected. Total scam, best to just ignore it!

I’ve had these idiots ring me twice today, first just after 7am and then again around 8.45, claiming some Government dept tried to hack my IP address - absolute rubbish if you ask me. Surely someone should look into this company because I bet they’re preying on vulnerable folks, scaring them into paying up, probably charging a fortune for this fake ‘disconnection and reconnection’ nonsense. Got a call from someone called "Kate" saying she was from "my internet provider" - didn’t say which one though. It was a recorded message telling me some government website was hacked yesterday using my IP address and my landline was about to be cut off. They didn’t give any specifics about the address or number, which sounded totally daft to me. Then a few seconds later, a person picked up, asked how I was, muttered nonsense, and just hung up. The same number called back an hour later but I just ignored it.

Got these idiots from Knutsford ringing our landline, which is on the TPS, three bloody times today. Every single call was dead silent. The number seems to be coming from close to the Information Commissioner’s office, so honestly, the OIC ought to pay them a visit, cut off their phone and electric, and lock the people in charge inside the place without any grub or water until the second of January.

Got calls from this number two times today on our house phone, which is on the TPS register. Both times, just silence - sounds like those auto dialler scams to me. I’m not a fan of unsolicited calls at all, especially since my disability makes it hard for me to get to the phone quickly. Honestly, I wish there was a way to really put a stop to these lot.
