I swear I had that number blocked already from the last time they tried to scam me, so how are they ringing me again?? Totally frustrating!

Typical scam call claiming to be from Microsoft’s security team or something like that. If you push back, they just cut off. Best to ignore them entirely.

So, some bloke claiming to be from Apple's tech support called me, sounded Indian and was proper rude when I questioned him. It's a shame they have to stoop to this sort of behaviour to make a living, but honestly, if they know what they're up to, I reckon the hassle they get is well deserved. Folks like that are a right nuisance and honestly, they ought to be cracked down on.

Got a call a short while ago from someone claiming my computer had an issue and wanted to talk to the owner. I told him no, then he insisted there’d been some risky activity on my pc. I found it funny and said I don’t even own a computer. He quickly got annoyed asking why I said I had one, but I told him I didn’t. He kept arguing that I did. I asked why he was fibbing about seeing problems with it in the first place. Then he started going on in what sounded like an Indian accent. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

This number just called me, said they were some sort of technician. Not sure what to make of it.

Today, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent who became really dodgy once I said I wasn’t interested. I ended the call, but then he rang me back telling me not to hang up - which I ignored and ended it again. He wasn’t happy and rang a third time. I warned him that if he called again, I’d report him. So if you get a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft, just don’t pick up.

Just got a call from someone saying they were with TalkTalk, warning me that if I didn’t chat to them soon, my internet would get cut off within a day. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft’s tech support. They said there’s an issue with my PC. I replied something like, “Let me guess, you want me to install TeamViewer so you can get into my laptop.” That’s when he started being rude, so I told him to piss off, but said it in Welsh just for the laugh. Honestly, why do these scammers get allowed to keep pestering people?

Like I said earlier, I suspected it was a scam and ended the call. But then they phoned me back! I was eventually put through to a ‘manager’ bloke, I played along for around thirty minutes to gather some info, then told him I was noting everything down to report him. Weirdly, he just cut the call. These lot are seriously relentless and risky - anyone calling about issues with your computer is likely after your banking and personal info. If you’re unsure, always go to a reputable local IT firm and steer clear of these people.

Apparently, a woman claiming to be from Microsoft called me, saying I needed to go to my computer right away because someone was hacking into it. She said she could prove she was legit by telling me my computer's serial number. When I asked her to share the number and also asked for her phone number so I could ring her back, she just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft’s tech support. They said my computer was involved in some illegal stuff and was full of viruses. I played along acting worried and just kept chatting with him for about ten minutes. Then I told him my computer was "on holiday" so I couldn’t check it. He ended up hanging up on me.

Got a call from a bloke speaking with an Asian accent, saying he was from Microsoft. Honestly, I’m quite sceptical about that. It was pretty noisy around me - there was a plane going overhead and someone working on the roof - so I didn’t catch the name he was after. When I asked him who he wanted, he snapped at me to "SHADDUP!" I wasn’t having any of that, told him he was being really rude and then ended the call. What a muppet!
