Initially, the caller simply said "hello" before abruptly cutting the line. A couple of minutes later, they reached out once more, greeting me with a "hello, who am I speaking to?" When I pointed out that they had just called me, they disconnected without any further comment. The voice had a hint of an Indian accent, and intriguingly, there was no ambient sound in the background whatsoever.

Had about 4 calls from this number and instantly blocked it after the first ring, clearly a scam so best not to pick up.

I refuse to pick up this number, they ring me daily, sometimes even a couple times a day. I can’t block numbers on my phone and after seeing what others say here, I’m just ignoring it. It’s so frustrating, wish there was a proper way to report and stop these annoying calls :(

Sick of all these random calls popping up, if it’s not from Manchester then it’s London, or even Wales and Leeds next. It’s like they’re everywhere! Every time I block one number, another one with a different area code turns up. I’ll just keep blocking them until someone smart comes up with a proper way to stop all this nonsense.

Got a call from a private number yesterday on my personal phone. I told the guy I wasn’t interested, but he rang me back again and said the exact same thing. I asked him to stop calling, but he just ignored me and kept going on. Ended up having to hang up on him. Seriously, why doesn’t private actually mean private??

Phoned that Review firm about life insurance. I've told them loads of times (around 5, since they ring from a new number every time) that I'm not interested. The guy sounded quite sorry, but I didn’t even let him start his sales pitch before I hung up and blocked the number. Proper persistent little nuisances!
