I had a feeling it was some sort of scam since I’m not familiar with anyone in Wales, so I just blocked it like the rest of the annoying calls. I was under the impression that these kinds of calls are meant to be against the law now???

Someone called my partner, asking for me. He picked up thinking it was a local caller. At first, he said it was Safestyle windows, then suddenly switched to life insurance. Total scam. Very rude and irritating. We've blocked the number.

I received a call from this number that appeared to be connected to an 033 line, attempting to pitch me life insurance. I cheekily mentioned that I’d be more than happy to enrol, but only if someone could pop round to see me in person, complete with proper identification, bank statements, and the company's financial records from the previous year. As soon as I said that, there was a notable pause on the other end followed by silence, and then the line cut off. They haven't tried to get in touch since!

Got a call about a life insurance policy but they used my old name, which seemed odd. They said it was about checking my life insurance details, but I don’t have any, so I guessed it was dodgy right away. When I told them I don't have a policy and I was ending the call because it’s a scam, they started shouting, begging me not to hang up. Didn’t give them any details and wouldn’t ever.

Received a call from a withheld number near Llanelli at around 3:16pm today, 07/09/2018. They’ve been ringing a lot before but I kept blocking them. These lot just don’t quit, honestly, proper dodgy scammers. When I first spoke to them, I gave them a right earful. Watch out - they’re trying to trick genuine folks out of their money, so if you do answer, don’t be shy about giving them what for. They seriously deserve it.
