My elderly mother is being harassed by this individual. They've claimed that she has supposedly forked out for two years of a five-year policy, which simply isn’t the case. Now, they're trying to intimidate her into coughing up another £180 under the threat of enforcement action. Disgraceful behaviour, really!

I often receive calls from both men and women, and let me tell you, when you push back against their spiel, they get right miffed. It honestly winds me up, leading me to tell them to bugger off in no uncertain terms! It's baffling how they persist despite my evident irritation, but I'm too obstinate to play along.

Indeed, it seems rather outrageous to be asked for payment for a service we never actually subscribed to.

I encountered someone who was incredibly disrespectful and made me feel uneasy by implying he had knowledge of my address!

This morning, I received a call from 01544248405 inquiring about a Mr. Miles. The caller accused me of being dishonest and insisted that I was at the address he provided, which, to my surprise, isn’t mine at all. I had to tell him where to go, let me tell you!

Received a call regarding my Home Appliance Insurance—a policy I don’t even possess! The chap claimed he could slash the cost by 40%. I told him to send the information through the post for me to have a look at. Unsurprisingly, he ended the call right after that.

Just received another one of those dodgy calls about insurance for kitchen gadgets. I've blocked the number, but knowing how these chancers operate, I wouldn't be surprised if they try again. It seems there are so many of these blighters, and they keep switching up their digits!

Received a worrying call claiming I owed money for a washing machine service, and they demanded payment by Monday. The strange part is, I have no knowledge of this at all. Apparently, it’s in my name, yet I’m completely in the dark. They've got all my personal information too, which is rather unsettling.

National Appliance is really pushing it! I had to inform them that they were disrupting a live lesson of mine. After that, they had the audacity to call me again, and I made it quite clear that they were hindering my work. Shockingly, they called me a third time!

I just received a rather peculiar call from a number based in Kington, and it was about insurance for my washing machine—something I took out two years back. Honestly, I don't bother with insurance for any of my white goods! The chap on the line even had the first four digits of my bank card, which set off alarm bells. It was a mobile number that rang me as well. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a call from an unknown number, but I chose not to pick up.

My elderly mother, who’s quite vulnerable, received a call claiming she had a policy for appliance cover, which she certainly does not. They went on to say there was an unpaid balance. Thankfully, the line was really poor, and I’m relieved nothing was agreed upon or any transaction occurred.

My father keeps receiving four or five calls daily from these con artists, and we're currently trying to figure out the best way to block them. It’s really frustrating, as they’re quite pushy and clearly not a reputable business.

I recently received a call regarding an inquiry about washing machines. The insurance company claimed they were associated with home appliances and mentioned that since I had never made a claim, they intended to lower the coverage amount. This all feels rather dodgy and rings alarm bells for me—it seems like a scam.

A chap phoned me, banging on about some television insurance that had apparently expired. I had to tell him to take a hike, not in the politest of tones, mind you!

I reckon this number ought to be flagged as quite dodgy. I've been getting calls from it repeatedly, and I've had some stern exchanges with the caller. They kept insisting that I have some sort of home appliances insurance with them, which is rather ridiculous as I don't have any such cover at all.

I had a rather bothersome chat regarding insurance for my washing machine. When I mentioned that my appliance was quite dated, he insisted it was covered by insurance. Absolutely not, I replied! Then, he shifted gears and started offering me a discounted insurance policy for it. I made it clear that I had no intention of signing up for any more insurance and promptly ended the conversation.

Supposedly, there's a home gadget insurance scheme that's claiming to provide a discount on your premium.

Absolute con! Keep well away from this one!

Today, I've had a couple of calls from this number, with a chap identifying himself as 'Richard'. Strangely enough, he disconnected both times as soon as I picked up. Since I don't have a clue who this 'Richard' might be, I figured it might be a good idea to see if anyone else has encountered the same situation.

Beware of these washing machine insurance con artists! It's best to steer clear of any dealings with them.

I received a rather alarming call from someone claiming I owed money for a washing machine warranty. When I pushed back for more details, they threatened to drag me into court. To say I was shaken up would be an understatement, yet I managed to hold my ground and not divulge any card information. They insisted, however, that I'd face hefty fines and court expenses if I didn’t comply.

Just wanted to bring to your attention, I received a rather dodgy call about washing machine insurance, reminiscent of a call I reported on 20 January 2021, where it was the same sort of nonsense – definitely a scam!

Same old story, really – no affirmations made about this supposed washing machine insurance and all that malarkey. I made it clear to him that I was well aware of his little ruse and suggested he take his leave, albeit in a more colourful fashion!

They rang me up claiming that I had an outstanding payment for a washing machine cover from three years ago. I firmly told them that I had no such obligation and hung up. Would you believe it, they called me back twice more, threatening to drag me to court!

I've been receiving persistent calls claiming that I've got a number of items covered under insurance with them. The truth is, I've never taken out any insurance policies with this company at all! I've made it clear to my bank not to authorise any payments they attempt to take. Additionally, I've filed a report with Action Fraud regarding their dubious practices.

They claimed they were looking to chat with my husband, so I inquired about what it was regarding. They mentioned something about our washing machine insurance, to which I replied that we don’t have any such policy. I then hung up on them. They called at precisely 6:55 in the evening. Isn’t there a way to put an end to these unsettling calls?

Just like folks have mentioned before, if I hadn't sorted out my renewal until 2024, they were threatening to pursue legal action against me. They were incredibly persuasive, and to make matters worse, they had a password that I had actually used before! It only dawned on me later that I had ditched that particular password and switched to a different one. Quite unsettling, really!

Just like many others have pointed out, this seems to be a complete scam. Approach with caution!

I recently received a rather alarming call from NEC regarding some so-called washing insurance. They claimed I could benefit from a £50 discount on my renewal, yet they were rather aggressive, implying I could face legal action if I didn’t comply. Once they mentioned needing my bank card details, I decided it was best to hang up. The whole situation was quite unsettling, to say the least!

I received a call from someone claiming that I had taken out a washing machine insurance policy, and apparently, a payment was now overdue. When I pressed them for the brand of my appliance, they abruptly hung up! Just a word of caution – don’t share any personal information with such callers!
