7 yearsI got calls twice within one hour from this Kendal number 01539824159 saying they'd cut off my landline. Don’t hand over any info, especially around this season. Always do a 1471 check and make sure to report it to BT so they can block the number. Be careful folks!KendalBT9 yearsI’ve been getting calls from people claiming to be BT, saying my computer’s got problems and asking me to go through loads of instructions. While I was doing it, I remembered a show about scams just like this, so I told them on the phone they weren’t really BT. They hung up straight away. After that I checked the number - it wasn’t recognised. Then they phoned my wife asking for whoever handles the internet but never mentioned my name, which struck me as odd because BT would know that already since I pay the bill. The next day they called again saying my internet would be cut off because someone got hold of my password. I told them only my family knows it and I’ve never shared it. They started with the computer nonsense again. This time I told them if they were BT, they wouldn’t know anything about my computer since that’s a different company, only about my landline. I really need someone to advise me on what to do with these calls.BTSubmit Your Own Report (015396 87941)
