Got a call on my mobile today (29.06.20) from this number. An automated voice said it was from HM Customs, claiming I was under investigation for unpaid tax fraud. It told me to press 1 to talk to an agent. I didn’t press anything and have now blocked the number.

Got a call from this number, sounded like some sort of robot at first. They tried getting us to confirm our info before putting us through to one of their reps. They rang our home phone initially, and when no one picked up, they tried my wife’s mobile instead. Makes me think they obtained our information from somewhere else, maybe another company’s records.

We didn’t want to go along with their verification, so never found out which company was behind the call.
