Got a call from this number, some Asian guy claiming to be from Microsoft saying my computer had issues - total scam, of course. Just like the others you hear about. I've popped the number on my call blocker now, so no more of that nonsense. Watch out, folks!

BT really needs to step in and sort out this problem. I've had calls all day from 0152510009 (sometimes the last few digits switch up) and no one ever says who they are. I’m using Safeguard, but it hasn’t helped stop these annoying calls.

This morning I got a call from a guy named John, sounded Asian to me. He began going on about some issue with my computer while I was right in the middle of using it! I just went quiet and let him keep repeating "Hello? Hello?" but I said nothing back. After a good minute of that he finally gave up, so I hung up.

I've signed up with the TPS ages ago, so I'm puzzled how these calls are still getting past. I get them pretty much every day, sometimes up to five times. BT haven’t been any help either.

This number called me like 6 times just yesterday! A couple of times I answered but they just hung up straight away, and other times I couldn’t be bothered to pick up. After reading the reviews here, I’ve added it to my block list. For anyone with BT, if you get a call from this number, just hang up and then ring 1572. Follow the steps they give, it’s quite simple to stop them from calling again!

Got a call really early, about 7am, from some bloke claiming to be from the Windows support crew. Didn’t bother hearing him out, just told him I was about to head to work - as if I’m still in the workforce at 83!

Will you believe someone claiming to be from TPS management service rang me? Asked the standard questions about unwanted calls and how I pay. Then tried to check my VISA expiry date and got the month wrong! If you pay by direct debit, it’s nothing to do with your card anyway - the bank just keeps taking payments regularly until you stop it. Honestly, wonder where they dig up this info from. Maybe because phone providers outsource their tech stuff to places like India... so many holes in security.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who said his name was John and claimed he was calling from the telephone preference service. He already knew my full name and address, which was a bit creepy. Then he switched to asking about my phone bill and whether I paid it by direct debit. I told him I wasn't comfortable discussing any financial stuff over the phone and asked what the point of the call was, but he just ended the call right there.

For a couple of days we got loads of calls from various numbers starting with random digits. Weirdly, they already knew our address and that we pay the bill via direct debit. Why on earth would the preference service have that kind of info? I just ended the call straight away.
