Got a call from a guy who sounded Indian. He never used my name, so I doubt he actually had my info. Said his name was Stephen and it was about my computer. I told him I don’t even own a computer, and the call just dropped. Definite scam, probably trying to snag login or bank details. If you can, block the number because from what I read here they keep calling at all hours. Don’t share any personal stuff with them, it’s a con for sure.

This number keeps ringing back right after the answer machine begins, then just hangs up quick. Seems like the same person is using 01525 510008 and 01525 510026. I've also had a few calls from 01525 460663 and 01525 460644. Best not to engage with whoever it is.

This morning at about 7:15 I got a call that just hung up straight away. But usually, I get calls from people who sound Indian and they go on about Windows stuff. When I tell them to stop and mention they're breaching TPS regs, if they don't shut up, I give a loud whistle right in their ear.

Yeah, I had a call from some Indians claiming to be from Windows, saying they knew about my problems. I was like, "Great, will you fix my iPad then?" They kept insisting it was about a PC. I told them it’s an iPad, and after some rubbish, I asked if they’d fix my Android phone too. He said he was transferring me to the Android team. Sneaky move showing a UK number, but it’s actually a premium rate scam from Asia. Never ring back!

This number woke me up at 6:30 am today, and it’s the third time they’ve called in the last 12 hours. I’m thinking about reporting it but don’t really know where to go, and honestly, I can’t deal with the BT call centre so early in the morning.

Got calls from the same number 3 times today, eventually picked up and an Indian lady claimed she was from TPS and said my direct debit had expired back in 2018. When I told her I don’t have a direct debit, she insisted I did and asked me to check my credit card. She said she could see it because my phone bill proved it. I repeated I have no DD, then she suddenly yelled, “Did I ask you for your card details?” I said I’d check and then she just hung up. Really watch out for this one!!!

Like loads of others have said, I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Management Service, offering to upgrade my cover to stop annoying calls. Then he asked for my credit card info, which I refused to give, and also wanted my bank details, no way was I sharing those. When I said I was going to end the call, he told me his name was 'Harry Parker' and gave me the number 02036305457. After I hung up, I checked the number by dialling 1471 and it showed a different one, 01525510026, which also has loads of bad reviews. Total SCAM, stay well clear!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Kevin, calling from 01525510026, claiming he was with the Windows HQ in London - funny, since that number’s actually tied to Leighton Buzzard. So this number’s supposed to be for both Windows and the TPS? Yeah right! He said he wanted to help fix my PC, but here’s the catch - I don’t have a PC at all. I’m a Mac person through and through. Poor Kevin, must be exhausting scamming harmless pensioners all day long. What a rough gig!

They've rung me a good five times just today. After the first call (they were asking for 'Mrs Williams' like they did the day before), I went ahead and blocked the number. Even so, the calls still show up on my phone, though it doesn't actually ring so at least it’s not disrupting me. It’s this annoying stubbornness of these cheats that really winds me up!!
