There was definitely someone there, but they stayed silent and then just ended the call after about 20 seconds.

Someone rang me up asking for my son, said he’d searched for life insurance using my phone number. Not sure that’s true since he’s in prison. The person on the other end kept calling me “ma’am” too, kept ringing me back as well.

This number is really dodgy, best to ignore, report, and block it. Shows up as DIDWW Ireland Ltd, but they say it’s not them??? No way, blocked for sure 🚫. Total risk 🔥

Got a call from 01522822968, looks like a Virgin Media scam on 4/5/21.

A bloke with an accent called me first, then a woman followed up claiming to be from Virgin Media. They said my internet had been hacked and asked to get into my computer.

Got a call from 0152 0236136, some guy with an Indian accent said £600 was taken from my account. Told me it was from fraud prevention but it’s definitely a scam, watch out!

01525300368 Got a robo call saying "Your Amazon Prime membership will be charged £79.99 automatically. Press 1 to stop payment" - Absolutely not. I've never signed up for Amazon Prime or set up any payments with them.

Got a call from 0152 656 9372 at about 12.30 this afternoon. Didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number. After reading the reviews here, I’d say this number is Suspicious.

01520086096 Just got a call about a £600 charge on my card to some overseas place, told me to press 1.

0152 rang me claiming his name was Oscar with a sort of Indian accent, saying he worked for Amazon. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 044152 373 2057 at 08:30 this morning claiming to be Virgin Media. It was a bloke with a foreign accent saying he wanted to talk about our internet setup. Definitely a scam, don’t trust it.

Got a call from 01526352353 with a robotic woman saying there was suspicious activity on my Visa. She told me to press 2 to stop charges and talk to someone. Then a guy with an Indian accent picked up, said he was John and asked how he could assist. I just ended the call.

Got a couple of calls this morning before 10 from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be Virgin Media.

01526618367 and 01528536855 have been ringing me a few times today and yesterday. They say they’re from some internet provider. I spoke to them a few months back and told them I’d contact my internet provider myself to sort things out. Today, when I called the woman out for being a scammer, she got really upset and just hung up. The calls yesterday and today had no one saying anything, probably because they didn’t expect me to catch on. Think I’ll just disconnect my phone now, bet that’ll make them even more frustrated.

This number 01526988121 keeps ringing me up loads during the day, saying they’re from my broadband company and warning my internet’ll get cut off if I don’t hit “1”. Proper nasty con artists, I tell ya.

Got a call from 01522818276 at about 8.40am. The guy said he’d been trying to contact me multiple times and that my internet was in danger of being disconnected because of some issues. The caller sounded American and told me to press 1 to get more info. At first, an American lady answered, then there was a click and an English woman’s voice said ‘Goodbye’. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

01529205094 called claiming to be BT. They warned me they’d cut off my internet if I didn’t sort something out. Sounds dodgy to me.

01528 845989 and 01528 638890 called me again, these idiots saying my internet would be disconnected in 24 hours coz of some illegal stuff. I told the guy, who had a thick Indian accent, that I was gonna contact my provider and the police. Guess what? He just hung up. No shock there!

Just got calls from 01520091060 and 01882047373, both had an automated message warning about some internet activity and saying my connection would be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed 1. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Got three calls already, all claiming to be Virgin Media warning me about disconnection and to press 1 to talk to their tech team. The numbers were 0152 6922626, 0152 9472189, and 0152 1289943. I’ve sent them all over to https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing to report.

Such a right nuisance!

0152 just called and said our internet will be cut off in 24 hours due to some illegal hack!

Got a call from 01525968959 where the bloke said I've been voted really sexy and asked when I’m free for rough sex and how much I’d charge, saying he’d get me clients and take a cut. Just as I started to reply, he hung up. Anyone else had a call this ridiculous?

Total scammers, be careful!

Loads of scammers trying all sorts just to get you to answer. Best thing is just block them straight away.

Got a call from 0152 and they were asking stuff about hacking computers.

This 0152 number keeps calling me, always asking stuff about my computer.

Got a call about a supposed windows error on my computer. When I questioned them, they just disconnected.
